Welcome to Lickpenny Caravan Park’s website. Lickpenny is located in the heart of the Derbyshire dales and stands within 16 acres of a truly picturesque setting. This tranquil retreat is set above the village of Tansley and near to the towns of Matlock and Bakewell.
The park has an extensive range of facilities, and all pitches are generous in size. Also we offer a number of extra large deluxe pitches, all of which have their own water, drainage and electric. Lickpenny accept caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, but not tents (or gazebos). The caravan park is well placed to enable you to visit the many nearby Derbyshire attractions, including numerous walks around the local area. Rallies are welcome by prior arrangement. For peace of mind security gates are fitted with a keypad entry system and CCTV cameras are installed. 2x EV Charge points – pre-payment cards available from reception. We are a touring site that’s open all year round, have hardstanding pitches and heated utility blocks so that you can enjoy “out of season” touring. Spring, summer, autumn or winter, this is a beautiful area to explore. So no matter when you pay us a visit, you will always find a warm welcome at Lickpenny Caravan Park, Matlock, Derbyshire.

Nice place.if you want quiet this is the place. All pitches are large.and very private. Some are suntraps.
